Start from assessment evidence
Record the report, revision, inspected areas, materials and quantities used to define work. Identify gaps before comparing proposals.
Scope crosswalk
Normalize inventory basis, work areas, controls, occupancy, waste, monitoring roles, changes and closeout records.
Decision file
Record the report, revision, inspected areas, materials and quantities used to define work. Identify gaps before comparing proposals.
Use consistent room, assembly and material references. Separate base scope, alternates and inaccessible or unknown areas.
Ask how work-area separation, access, occupant protection, equipment and method documentation address the actual scope.
Identify who performs abatement, who conducts any monitoring or clearance work, and what independence or qualifications current rules require for the project.
Compare packaging, transport, disposal, records and responsibility using current regulatory requirements.
List visual review, monitoring or clearance outputs where applicable, waste records, area release, limitations and property-file updates.
Cross-reference every work area and material quantity to the accepted assessment drawing, room name and sample or assumed classification. Require written treatment for discrepancies discovered during setup or removal rather than allowing undocumented scope drift.
Map work boundaries, access, adjacent occupants, shared ventilation, shutdowns, emergency routes, noise restrictions and turnover sequence. Assign who communicates changes and who confirms prerequisites before the next occupied area or construction trade is released.
List waste records, monitoring or clearance deliverables where required, photographs, corrected inventories, incident records and authorization to reoccupy or continue renovation. Specify the responsible role and acceptance criteria rather than relying on the phrase complete abatement.
For each phase, list assessment basis, materials and quantities, setup boundary, occupied-building interfaces, controls, monitoring or clearance role where applicable, waste documentation and closeout records. Define prerequisites for setup, start, teardown and release, along with the person who accepts each document. Connect discovered materials or expanded areas to a written change and renewed review. A phase is not complete merely because removal activity stopped; the scheduled evidence and corrected inventory must be filed before renovation or normal access resumes under the accepted project process.
